Could you take some more pics, ie the other side, from the top in front of the carb, back side as well.

I'm thinking the same thing, looks like an older version of the rg. Need more pics to confirm.

sorry guys i dont have any other pics right now cuz i just bought it on ebay.

Whatd ya pay for it? What size is it? Id say a o.s. as well. Looks like there head.

my friend got it for like 50 bucks and its supposed to be brand new. its a .21 and he is trying to put it in a rc10gt. its a big block right? so itll need differnt mounts right? just tell me I'm right so i can tell him.

for engine mounts hit up .21rc10gt, he has a collair .32 on his and sells the custom engine mounts for big blocks

I'm not quite sure either, but it looks OS'ish as well. As for it being a .21, hard to say. Maybe it's the angle the picture is taken from, but the carb throat looks to be too small for a BB, in my opinon at least.

If you have a link to the auction, that'd help.

I don't remember an OS BB that uses 4 head bolts... it reminds me of an old thunder tiger. It's odd that the side of the engine doesn't have a badge on it... it might just be some knockoff.

it reminds me of an O.S also. as for it being a .21 that i can't say. it looks like a .15 to .18 size mill. do you have more pics of it?

To me it looks like a small block also does the head look up side down to anyone? I never seen a head that had a sliver circle on the top like that.

the short shaft is a pretty good indication it's NOT a .21.....
the lower casting on the case isn't as nice as O.S. and the backplate doesn't have that funky lip like OS does......the Carb linkage is totally different.....probably a knock off....and probably NOT a .21...maybe a .12

OK, I have to ask, and I am not trying to be rude or difficult, but there are now two threads about this mystery engine, but neither thread starter can post a link to the eBay auction that it was purchased from.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask why the engine would be purchased in the first place without knowing, at the very least, who manufactured it? It's kind of like buying a car then asking what kind it is. I am more than willing to help answer questions, but it's tough when the only thing to go on is a picture with the question, "what kind of engine is this?"

If either thread starter has access to the auction link, it's a start.

I already let the owner of the engine to post any new info here.
