What is the difference between the two?

Both are basically the same thing. Same size, same kv, are there more programmable options between the two? Both have ec2 connectors

I have the Dynamite for my mini b. I had seen the new mini drag car with the Spektrum.

If there is a difference, is it worth upgrading from the Dynamite to the Spektrum?

The Dynamite motor and esc I have right now is still running good. I have no issues with it. Doesn't heat up a lot.

Another thing to note is that the Spektrum is 3 dollars more than the Dynamite. So I don't know if it is worth upgrading? Or I can always get the Spektrum for a spare if needed since I am planning to race the mini b.

If theres any difference in them its probably just going to be in the programmability but in order to find out the differences you're going to have to read the manuals for both and compare.

Considering Horizon has the Dynamite on backorder, and Amain has it in stock, looks like Horizon is just trying to push their crap on you. For that reason alone, I'd go to Amain and buy the Dynamite.

All true. I already have the Dynamite 2 in 1 for my mini so I'm fine until something major happens. If so I would probably upgrade to the hobbywing combo or the castle combo.

I downloaded the manuals. Looks like the program settings are the same. Almost the whole manual looks the same.

That makes sense HH owns both brands. Sounds like theyre 6 one way, half a dozen the other.

Going back to this.
They discontinued the Dynamite system and moving along with the Spektrum system.
Looking at the reviews about the Spektrum. Lots of people installed it in the mini b, mini t, and mini jrx2. Some might of put it in in the limited jrxT too.
Some people say it is better than the Dynamite.
Another person says it is a smoother powerband with the Spektrum.
With that, I will just rock with the Dynamite system I have now. Until it dies. I might get the Spektrum combo. I might go with Hobbywing but people say that it has some issues.
I seen lots of people use cheap amazon systems (30-40 bucks) in their cars. Gets the car up and running. But it isn't as fast as the Spektrum or Dynamite 2 in 1's.
