what is a great buggy?

One that runs

what do you want to do with it.Race, bash,How much do you want to spend

i am going to bash and not more than 400

If your gonna buy new for that price you should look at the GS Storm RTR. I got mine for about $370 it has a nice radio( JR XR3I ) and comes with a good engine that has not given me any problems. You might wanna also look at some of Ofna's buggys as I know some of them run right around your price range I have heard a lot of good things about them and probably would have gotten the Hyper 7 PBS if I could have found a shop that carried there parts.

nitro 21 were did you get your gs storm?

If your looking at the storm i will suggest that you look at your lhs and see if they carry parts for them.there are a few places on line that have them.Do your home work

I got mine from a LHS. I have not seen it online anywhere for less so I might have gotten a good deal but figure if you look around at a shop somewhere around you maybe you will be able to find it pretty close to that, Parts are a little scarce on it though so your best bet would be to look around and see what shops carry in your area. Ofna is probably more common just not around me for some reason. If your just gonna be bashing you might wanna look at XTM's buggy the 24.7 seems to be a popular engine and it comes at a good price I have never seen one in action personally so maybe someone else can tell you how durable it is I beleave it is hobbypeoples buggy as that is the only place I have seen XTM sold.

Ill throw my 2 cents in about the ofna mbx series.there not realy an 1/8 scale
But more like a 1/10 scale look at the spec...be your own judge

SPECS: VEHICLE:
Length: 14.9" (380mm)
Width: 7.7" (198mm)
Height: n/a per Ofna
- Weight:
Wheelbase: 10" (260mm)

And here is the specs. on the pbs. witch is the standered 1/8 scale buggy specs.

SPECS: Vehicle-
Length: 19.6" (498mm)
Width: 13.8" (310mm)
Height: 7.3" (185mm)
Weight: 7.7 lbs (3500g)(approx.)
Wheelbase: 12.9" (327mm)

you are absolutley right zandor. and i shoulve told em. if the size is a turn off then maybe a used buggy? you could probaly find a nice roller for cheap. then buy engine and radio. theres all kinds of goodies on ebay.

That's a pretty big size difference. I never noticed. It should really screem though since it still houses a 21 type engine. Although, you would probably get bullied at a track by other bigger buggies.

I suggest taking a look at the X-Terminator series. The regualr is only around 320$ or so, the deluexe comes with a lot of goodies and is around 450$, and the Pro comes without engine, tires, or electronics and is around 320$. All of these are great buggies at a great price IMO.

hey zandor, u need to check the your numbers before you post them, the ultra mbx, lx pro, lx comp are just as big as any other 1/8 buggy.

have you ever seeing an ultra mbx, well , it is AS BIG AS YOUR PCR, the specs listed on that page doesn't give you all the specs, this is the 2nd time that you tell somebody else that the ofna ultra series buggies are the size of an 1/10 car, and don't get so defencive, jackass.

hey mx125 screw you.he asked about that buggy.and thats what i posted about.i posted the specs.and yes i have seen the ultra mbx pro i own one.ITs right there in black and white color even at the top of the page.

well, then again you know that the ultra series buggies are 1/8 scale, the next time don't post the wrong information, and you will avoid having somebody else correcting your mistakes.

OH here i correct my self. i own the ultra lx pro not the mbx pro.And i did say
IMO! that they were more like a 1/10 scale.they do say there 1/8 but this is once again IMO..

And mx do some home work buddy.all the mbx searies are all about the same size.

so prove me wrong. We are talking about the MBX ofna buggys here..
