between 10% and 20% is always a good idea and if u want more power go 25% or even 30%
 
20% is a good place to start. A few people that I know use 30% but that's mostly with racing applications. With higher nitro's they say the life of the engine is shortened but that's another discussion. What I do know you have to keep an eye on are the O-rings.

It seems that the hgher percentage tend to wreak havoc on the HSN o-ring. THere is a seam on it that after time will strip off and result in that thread going in and out of the HSN housing. This will cause an extremely lean condition and the car will cut out after a while. Check that o-ring often to make sure. BTW, this was mostly on the nova based engine's, novarossi in particular.
 
20% is my minimum for nitro content. For sport engines, I usually run 20-25%. If it's a race engine, 30%.
 
I run some older .12 OS CZ's and CV's and I was using Wildcat 20/14 but trying a quart of Blue Thunder 20 and I am liking it, cooler for some reason.
