Just bought a nitro parts car. Came with a o.s motor. Motor says .18cr-v Maxx? Why can I not find it online? What is it and how much does it cost? Bc it runs like a raped ape and it was freshly rebuilt the guy I bought it from never even knew what it was paid 30$ for the car with all my parts and the motor. Can someone please send a hand? Maybe some links or something.

Its one of the most sought after engine in its class ,they still rule ,they where about $ 169 to $ 189.00 bucks!

They where popular for 1/10 scale stadium trucks an street cars ,I have one ,an it is extreme!...

Do I just buy parts for a os .18 any of them interchangeable?

The OS 18 CV-R(X) was more a bashers engine. Very reliable, decent life span, good power and easy to tune. I'm not sure how sought after it was. I had one many years ago when they first came out. They were around $100-$120 then. It replaced the OS 15 cv-r(x) which I also had a few of previously.

The 18TZ, that was a screamer.
