Ok, this is enough already. I've been holding my mouth shut for a long time and a few members here know it already. Stop giving out information that you only know as truth BASE ON WHAT YOU READ.
He asked what is a suitable engine for his 710. I gave him the information based on what I use on my 710. As far as an os outlasting an italian engine in a 30 minute main, run one first before stating that fact. An engine will only last as long as it's not cooking itself.
Yes and OS can run the length of a main and a car equipped with an OS can win a main. It is all based on the driver. That's a commonly known fact. But you have to make it to the track to prove it first.
Anything else that I say beyond this post based on your posting will stay civil. Everything else will be private.
I just don't like the way you are giving out information and advice BASED SOLELY on what you read instead of actual user based opinion and findings.
Ok diver, I dont give out one persons opinion.
I'm sorry, not all of us have the $$ to buy and test everything like you do.
Did you even bother looking at the thread I posted in my post.
You will see many many people agreeing with me, of course they're all wrong, right?
Everything I said is true.
* The OS for $195 is by FAR the best bang for your buck engine.
*It has no problem racing and keeping upwith Novarossi, Sirio, and RB engines.
*Parts such as P/S are a lot cheaper.
*It will out last many engines on the track.
*It is very easy to tune and it and very well built.
Ever wonder why OS owns 70% of the Nitro engine market?
This engine puts out the RPMS and the HP on the track, fact.
I dont need to test every engine to know how it performs, thats why you read up on things, so your telling me reading things is bad and we should just waste our money on what we think is good?
The people at rctech in that thread actually own the engine, and most of them say the same exact thing I just said about the engine.
So you still dont feel my information is accurate enough?
