I am going to be upgrading to a drop in OS .18 tm soon in my t-maxx. I know this motor is significantly more powerful than the 2.5, and I was wondering what are the weakest links in the transmission and driveline that usually break first. I might as well upgrade a few necessary things while the truck is down rather than wait until it's broke again. I don't really want to spend money on things that would hold up alright in stock form, but trouble areas are worth my time and money to solve. Also, would the stock clutch bell and spur work ok with this motor, or will I have to play around with that? I am looking for a no or small wheelie drag car style launch, with quick weight transfer from front to rear, and the rear squatting and the front unloading a bit. Wheelies are fun, but they are a waste of momentum when I am trying to race.
