I ride shotgun in other peoples cars. :D

I have half a mile to work and don't need a car for much except hauling my buggy to the track, and that I can do with a trolley bag. The upkeep of having a car over here is just too much for me at this point. They say on average you should expect to spend at least 400$ a month on road tax, gas, insurance, and repairs. It's kinda a catch22, if I get a car I can't afford my RC hobby but will have no need for one either.

And no, I'm not rich! I work at a local McDonalds for $8.40 an hour for the past 2 years and I hate it there.

And when did honda sell the Vtec V6 in anything but the Ridgline?

I'm almost positive I test drove an 04 or 05 accord acouple years ago that was the VTEC v6, seems like that was their big selling point with it at the lot.

They started selling in 03, but you could only get it in the 2dr Accord EX and the Civic SI. They are actually very hard to find, took me 4 years to find mine. They didnt make a lot of these cars in the V6 V TEC until 08-09, sadly I have only seen them in the new Civic SI's but not the Accords anymore which was the first car to have the V6 V TEC. The 04 Accord EX had the most features in any Honda until the 06 Civic SI. My car was $38,000 brand new in 04. 6 years old and still books over $15,00 :D I will post pics of it soon when they finish uploading to photobucket.

All the honda cars are VTEC. My 02 4 door accord was v6 "vtec". it wasn't all that. just a variable valve timing system.

I dont see the big deal about it. all the lil ricers around here are all about their vtec motors. its not like its a turbo setup. i doesn't make that much of a difference.

The VTEC's are funner to drive than a non since they are snappier down low. Get a low boost setup on one and they rip.

(I smoke them in my truck though)

Idk about you guys, but I don't consider my car a rice burner, I mean it has a dual exhaust not a fart can or a body kit. I hate rice burners and the v tec is very very snappy, everyone that's driven it for the first time spins the tires more than once on accident. Its an awesome little car and great on gas, plus how many ricers cost more than 6 grand? Mine books at 17

as do i, its pretty funny to see their faces when a 10,000 lb truck literally leaves them in a big cloud of black smoke.

wasn't calling ur car a rice burner, just saying most lil riceburners have a serious hard-on for vtec and act like they skeet their britches when they hear it....... i dont really understand it..... then again, nothing i drive has less than a 8 cylinder in it.......

Yeah I know what your talking about, same thing goes on here too. They are great engines, but not as great as most say. My duster could smoke it and it only has a small block v8 318
