what do i need?

i need to get a top chassis for my mid motor rusty build, (Edit: built off a nitro chassis.) but I'm not sure what i should get. I've got two options, the upper from the normal nitro rusty (id have to chop a bit off) or the upper from the electric rustler. id rather get the electric rustler upper chassis. but i dont know if it will work.

Which Rustler do you have. Mid motor implies 4wd, but the 2wd and Nitro use the upper chassis plates?

Find it on Traxxas. Then go to support and parts list. This is from the 2wd one.

It will show the part number options that fit.

If it something custom I would start with the one that is meant for your chassis.

I see and that does complicate things a bit. It looks like neither one is just right and your going to be doing some work either way.

Realistically it's $16 both and I would just get both and see what fits best.

Alternatively, you can find a servo mount, but the bell crank is going to be the heard part.
