kyosho maybe. they went through a purple aluminum faze for a short time. and the phillips screws on the front would be par the course for them.
only other company's i can think of that used purple aluminum was HSP and Redcat. ...maybe Cen, can't remember...

Found this picture on Rc universe forum. Look Similar? I can't find out what car this is!!! it'll drive me crazy by the time someone figures it out. Ill just have to keep digging... Any way here is the thread. it is #4 reply...
Yeah, that's the same car. The picture is reversed, though.

I found out what this is. There are two versions to this car.

Hurricane XP
And what you have here is a Redcat Monsoon. it came In two versions monsoon, being a truggy and hurricane, being a buggy. ( couldn't find the older version of a monsoon.)
I know this one is a Monsoon because of the front body posts in the front, the hurricane did not have any.

You think $50 is a good deal for the one I posted? (Probably not)

Well its old, and buy the looks of, it untouched. yeah its a little on the worse for for wear side but it gives it some character.(my slash rust the same way...). I think its a good deal. I don't know about parts on the other hand, since it a old car, but they made a 2.0 version of it, and I did see a few oem parts when looking for the model. I'd buy to get it running. I mean the thing is mostly likely older than I am! it would be a cool project to get up and running and play with it!

Maybe. I'd just put a 4s brushless system in it.
