What are these posts on my Traxxas TRX4 79 Bronco chassis?

I was just replacing the shift servo in my Traxxas Trx4 and noticed these two posts on the chassis, and I was wondering what they are for?

And I was also wondering what these things on the fenders are for too?

Those the rock light covers. You'd remove them when you install the optional LED rock lights (part #: 8072X).

Woodie right on the rock light covers on the fender liners, the other two posts by that shift servo are for the pro scale light module

there is a mounting plate for the module that goes on the posts, then the module screws to that

The kit @Lostinthewoods86's is referring to is the light control system (part #: 8035R).
