Went bashing today....

Well i went bashing today and i did a couple of warm-up speed runs with my truck on the road then i took it into the ally. The house beside me has these 2 little hill things and if you hit one at a high enough speed you can clear a 5-6 foot gap between them, and i did but when i landed it landed kind of akward(sp) and i though i busted something for sure.As i walk over there i see that my left side rearend is sagging.When i looked all i did was blow a shock cap off.and i was doing about 25-30 mp/h when i hit this "jump" and it was awsome ... and plus i needed to rebuild that shock soon anyway so now i can do that.. Well my day was good so far. I'll fix my shock and go again later or tomorow to the R/c track.

That be your RPM Maxx you had out today? Cool deal man. You might want to look into the alum shock caps if you dont want to throw down the cash for the big bores.

At least ya got out was to cold for my taste today

And either go with the alum shock caps or big bores or some other style of aftermarket shocks youll be much happyer

I hear ya on the cold - I just COMPLETELY SPENT a set of ProLine buggy tires on the pavement today. I honestly think it was due to the cold. I've never seen a new set go in 3 tanks. I ran about 7 but they were done after 3.

So you have soem home made cheater slicks now ? i spent day wrenching in front of tv kids on spring break next week so i figure well run all week hes 5.. so gets impataint if it aint running

Yeah my 5 year old son was with me today. He helped make the slicks lol.

Ya i took my blue maxx out.. It stands up to my punishment really good.

Ya it was warm here its warm enough to go outside in shorts and t-shirts.. Its supposed to hit about 17ºC here tomorow so... BASHING time tomorow!

ya well i don't know what it would be in ºF so.... All i know is ºC except i only use ºF when i'm checking the temp of my engine!
