I have further proof that us R/C'ers will mod anything we can get our hands on.

I've been looking for a better way to store my tools so they are easily accessable and taken with me to bash sessions. I found a nice Plano tackle organizer for $3 at Wal-Mart the other night.

I decided to hack it up so I could place my pliers and glow wrench in it. normally the rows are too narrow, but with the combination of the squarish storage area and a litte hacking of the wall to make a notch in it, I can now store my pliers in it with the rest of my commonly used tools. I admit that it was a very simple mod but it made the box much more useful for storing tools.

I'm always finding stuff that I can use to help me with my rc's. For $3 I might have to look for one of those, Good find .

i strated with one like that now I'm in a mess of a 5 drawer box that has parts for 5 trucks and it weighs like 50 pounds,so i dont wanna take it anywhere so i just a little bucket 2.5 gal. i need a new box for my mini t so easy to lose the parts,i have strage boxes of trucks ,parts, everthing and i just can't part with them...jeezz i think i need help!!! nice little box good find it may be what i need for my mini

I stire all my screws and parts in boxes like that, the only problem is that they only looked like that the first day, now everything is mixed. I'll have to expend a day to relocate everything.

A guy showed up at the track today with a stackable 2 box set up and a NEW REVO. The lightweight tool box came with a retractable handle and wheels. It was a really slick set up. $19.95 at either Walmart or Kmart.

I have a box like that too but found it impractical to drag around all the time.

I'm glad that I could plant a little idea in your heads. I look at storage boxes all the time and think of ways to use it for my r/C stuff. I just have to stop myself from buying most of it, but couldn't go wrong for $3!

I use a little travel bag... ok, it's a girls cosmetic bag!

At least my wife didn't give me the purple one with sequens on it! Well, she tried to with a smirk on her face...

you know olds my wife would have done the same, well....actually I'd prob be walking around with the purple one!

I use the wood field box that's made for airplanes. It has a platform on one side for the gallon of fuel, and that's connected to the crank fuel pump I attached to the side of the box.

No problems here. My transmitter bag is actually a baby diaper bag. It is all black and was just the right size for my TX.

my friend is a nurse and she snagged a colostomy bag for me. used once washed twice, it holds my tools just fine. :puke:
