is the ofna lx pro any good, has anybody bought there car off of ebay, i might do it,because the engine would already be broken in and it would be cheaper:thumbup:

Just the info I was given when I was looking...

decent buggy for fun, not really a racer as is. Nice 1st buggy. The design is about 7 - 10 years old. The RTR has a decent radio. Now I cannot vow to the truth of any of this... maybe I did just as the salesman at my LHS wanted me to do, SPEND MORE $! Hope this helps some.

Do not get it, the diffs and axles are weak, the engine is powerful but maybe difficult to tune for a novice racer.

The engine is easy enough to tune.My freind bought one as his first R/C and he tuned it with no problem. All I did was tell him what temps to keep it at and he did the rest himself. The whole buggy is kinda weak as far as buggies go.He has bent the chassis 3 times, went through 4 shock towers,2 sets of hub knuckles, and a set of brake discs. We solved the chassis issue by adding a Y brace from another Ultra type buggy and added a shock tower from an MBX R2.The shock tower and chassis are holding up nice but the axles and hub knuckles still bend after a hard day of bashing and we haven't found an altenative to those parts just yet.
