Well guys i think this weekends racing goes down in the book as one from hell, it started on saturday in the qualifing heats, rain, mud as thick as treacle, cars weighing 4 times what there sposed to, and parts falling off my cars left right and center, the mbx lasted 2 heats and i smashed the whole left side of the car, tune pipe flattened and front arms totaly removed, dont ask how but it happened, nicked a barrier tube in a high speed corner and that was the end of the mbx, the x-ray last 1 heat and my Rb seazed go fig, after i been talking them up so highlyi changed motors and then what happens, my very exspensive Futaba steering servo dies and puts my car into a drain about 2 ft under (doh) , so i ended up running the sacker, because all my quallifing heats were so bad :) i made the E final, not sure what the race system is but you have to come in the top 4 of every race from now on to progress to the next heat 30 min heats , so the sacker with a rb lasted till the b final I'm running first thinking to myself that the a final is not far away, 18 second lead and my car is fare flying, i land off the big double jump and all of a sudden theres no power, i managed to get the car back to the puits at no revs, as soon as i pull up the motors quits, thinking that i cooked the motor, John my oits man says (your not going to beleive this, youve blown the head and cooler clean off the motor) so i jump down and have a look go fig hes right blew 3 of the bolts clean out and the 4th was holding on by about threads amazed the motor actualy ran round to the pits, so all in all i killed 2 motors a servo and 2 cars, LOL what a day, sorry no pics, was to busy as you can imagine trying to keep something running.

WOW sounds like a $$$$ day! But it's still racing sorry it didn't work out better for you. Good job on the bump ups!

Sounds like you had one hell of a day. Congrats on doing as well as you did with what you had. What Rb engine seized on you?

the ws7 the newest of my 3, think it was just having to do to much work in the gluggy conditions, was going to run my new nova 421b but still isnt running 100% only just run it in so I'm glad i didnt, just finished pulling the rb to bits, and found the front bearing was the culprit, motor full of lovely grey gue, but think its actually repairable, we will see piston and liner looks ok though, but the fact that the liner is really lose is a concern, think it will either be fine or a throw away not sure till i run it.
