To do list:

Replace servo saver nut
Order tyres and glue
Order electronics
Order pinion(s)
Alignment, droop, preload etc
RX
Antenna tube
Body, decals
Replace wing support. Stripped threads 🙄

🤔

I test fitted the MBX8 body the other day and it does fit. Only the servo link interfered with the body at the saver end. No biggie, I just cut a little more out of the existing cut out.

The MBX8 saver spring nut arrived just now and I fitted it straight away. Yes it does fit. Inside diameter and thread is the same as the MBX6 nut.

Not sure how someone managed to damage the old nut as it's well protected in its location.

Hallelujah!!! Praise Jesus-you have exercised the demons!!! 😂

That’s awesome brotha-what’s the manual say for spring preload on that dude? I Typically go for coil bind, then back off between 1 & 2 turns of the nut.. Just my .02.

I just checked.. 2mm from the chassis to the face of the nut for both the 6 Eco, and the 8R.. Wasn’t expecting that.. May just be a stiffer spring than what I’ve been messing with the past several years.. I’m sure it’ll be fine. If it feels muted, you can always crank it up, and see how it feels.

Glad that worked out-nice to have a proper clamping style adjustment but for sure (that doesn’t look like a hungry Sheila got after it 😂)…

oh that thing is practically BEGGING to be taken to the track

Skate park? OK 👍
😉😆

Yes I agree. I think I'll have too. See what it's capable of.
