Time for an update, although there's not much to show.

It's slightly more stripped down, but I haven't cleaned anything yet, apart from the chassis.

I've mainly been doing research, searching for parts and doing some small orders.

What I've received so far:

Mud guards
Rear gearbox housing/bulkhead
Shock seals
Diff case (for centre diff as its damaged)
Wing, white
Decals x2, blue and silver
diff oil
Shock caps
Al. Servo horn
Al. Wing buttons
Rear lower arms
4mm washers
Joint shafts
Pivot balls, steering

I've also ordered:
T-works Ti servo screws
T-works Ti droop screws

Jokes aside, the diffs feel smoooth. I'm not worried about them. I'll probably just clean and put new oil in them. Even though the bearings feel great too, I'll still replace them.

That's reminds me. I ordered a bearing kit.

15x21x4mm bearings: If you run in high volumes of dust, always have spares... always. ;) :p
EDIT: Disregard my post. I see your other 1/8 off-road RCs have same bearing and may already have some stashed away.

I do have some spare kits and bearings from different builds, but I'm not sure if I have that size. I will also be keeping the bearings removed from this build as they still feel good.

But thanks for the advice 👍

Coming along nicely, it's quite frustrating as in the UK I don't believe they (Mugen) have a distributor anymore, I have to buy all my parts from Mugen Europe https://mugenshop.eu/en/ they have a great section with manuals and setup sheets, go take a look, you never know they may even ship to OZ..!! :thumbs-up:

Thank you. Just had a quick look. They do ship to Oz and actually have a MBX6 eco body in stock. It's get pricey though when shipping is added. Good to have options though.
Thanks.

I actually stumbled across a local dealer. Only 1 hours drive from me. Doesn't have an actual shop though. Only online.

I like to add a little bit of history of the RC in my build threads.

Mugen Seiki and this model is completely new to me, so with some help from the interweb and @Littlemotor, this is what I've put together.

The Mugen Seiki MBX6 Eco is the electric-powered version of the Mugen MBX6, a 1/8 scale radio-controlled buggy that debuted in 2008 to succeed the MBX5. The MBX6 platform was the first electric(eco) MBX model and featured significant updates from its predecessor, including new 15mm diameter big bore shocks and thicker shock towers, and it was heavily redesigned from the MBX5, making it nearly unrecognisable. The "Eco" designation indicates it was an electric model, differing from the nitro-powered versions of the time.

Other MBX6 models are:
MBX6T Truggy (eco and Nitro)
MBX6 Nitro buggy
MBX6 M-Spec
MBX6R Race Edition.

The MBX6 was superseded by the MBX7 in May 2014.

Nice rig! I used to race an old Mugen MBX4RR. Mugen make fantastic RC cars. 🤩
They do seem like great quality from my limited experience so far. Suspension feels great and the parts quality is top notch.

I'm eager to start building but I'm still waiting for more parts to arrive.

I have/had parts coming from all over the world.
The US, UK, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Hong Kong, Indonesia and from all over Australia of course.

Today I started cleaning some of the parts which won't be replaced.
