Wanting to buy a slash

I so want one also... I'm waiting for the Slash kit to happen though. :thumbs-up:  🤩
Thought they already had a kit? Although it is RTR minus battery charger tools ect.

eBay and FB marketplace are good places to search for used Traxxas trucks. Find them all over the place. Most sold used are majority rollers though. Imo getting a RTR is better. Or if your on a budget and still want a RTR a fairly decent option is Arrma Furry 2wd, or Pro2 SC10 Associated.

That was no "kit". It was an unassembled RTR.;)

Yeah. Them including crappy electronics makes it worse 😅

But I get its intent. It's a kit a kid could build. I don't hate on them for it. But I agree - release kits minus the electronics. Hell, I'd have bought a UDR a long time ago if it were sold as a roller kit.

Great point you bring up.
I brought up that fact, many times, that I would consider buying another Traxxas platform when a kit was released by them (not a crawler platform). The last Traxxas "kit" that I fully enjoyed running/racing was their TCP platform. It's now a dumbed down platform as we now know it... the Bandit.

I love short course trucks, and (primarily) have Traxxas to thank for that, but give me a full blown; no holds barred kit (like they used to make)... I'll be the first to stand in line to buy.

I don't care what SCT it is. Give me a 2wd... 4wd SCT dirt sucking kit. I don't want a somebody else's electronics put on the table/in the gameplan.

Sorry, @trctheresa. I'm old school and like "the build" of a kit more than anything. I don't mean to bring anyone down in their search for RC happiness. I'm a passionate RC SCT lover. I'm sure you'll find the right new/used Slash for your needs shortly. :thumbs-up:

I failed to mention that it is currently converted to a buggy, which really only involved the body of course, and a buggy tire/wheel combo. The body posts were also removed but I have all the original parts to convert it back. it's the blue buggy, front right in the pic.

Srry, that's the only pic I have on me. I can provide more once I get home. Price really depends on whether or not you want all the parts. I have quite a bit of stuff I've collected over the years. Do you want tx/rx? It's bound to my Noble at the moment but I have the factory traxxas stuff still. I'd guess a base price of 250? More if you want all the parts. I think i spent that much on the castle mamba max pro combo that's in it.

I've got one:
