Lol, sure the hobby geta older than this, but after two years of wanting one I'm so glad to get my hands on a vintage nitro stock car
It was very, very rusty when I got it, so I soaked it in wd40 and brushed it off with the dremel. Now it's much better.
Without the body I would'nt have bought it, I love it, it has no cracks at all:
The engine is in perfect shape as well. It has loads of compression, almost brand new, although it certainly has gotten some fuel troigh it at some point. The piston and cooling head have a strange design:
Out of the box, the rear right suspension arm was broken. It wasn't a huge fix luckily. I used strong glue, drilled two holes through it and then added a ziptie:
For now, I'll just figure out a way to start the engine, because it's too high for a push starter box. Other than that, I'll add the electronics and it seems in the right condition to be taken on the road once again
