well right now i have a maxx and it has an ACNCM head, ms filter, fuel filter, THS pipe, big bore shock, integy bulks, and a new body. i was wondering if i should sell my maxx through rushrc's used rc thing and pay the difference for a savage 4.6? i want the 4.6 cuz of the reputation of being tough and now that it has a top speed of 44mph it sounds pretty nice. what do u guys think?

i think if your asking & your like me your minds already half made up to do it and just looking for the push
i say if you think you want to and your wallet can take the hit go for it you wont regret it...you only live once and if you dont youll always wish you had everytime the maxx breaks :-)

I've done the same thing as you, execpt I sent in a regular Savage SS and paid the difference for a New SS 4.6. Bruce at Rush RC is a great guy to work with, I highly reccomend him.

Also I do suggest you get rid of the T-Maxx in favor of a Savage. A Revo is better suited for racing, if thats what you are planning on the get one, but the savage is a beast and will spend little or no time broken in the corner.

well i just found out that i would need to buy my own radio system including remote and servos. how much would that cost me?

If you don't want reverse, and want to save a few bucks you can get a AM 2-Ch radio for around 40-50$. Then you'll need servos. A 3-Ch FM radio like the MX-3 is a better radio and you can use it for multiple R/Cs, but if you don't have the $ an AM will get the job done.
