I am interested in purchasing a barely used K3 from my friend(5 weekends). I'm pretty sure he does the normal maintenance on the car. What is a good price?

Is it a roller?? I would say depending on the shape, anywhere between $375-$475. That is what they are going for on FleaBay!! Have a LHS check it out, and let them give an opinion on price!! Post pictures! Most of us guys can determine by a pictures the price for the most part. If everything is included with this K3, depending on the additions I would say in the neighborhood of $700-$850

its just the rolling chasis he told me to make him an offer this coming weekend because he wants the 777. I did not want to offend him.

Yeah, brand new right I think you can get it for like $599! I don't like to low ball my friends either! I would say offer him $400 starting and meet somewhere in the middle! Again, it really depends on the shape of the buggy and if you are getting any spares!

I feel that high quality buggy's really hold there value a little more! Just a thought!!

DOes it come with any upgrades? ANy extras? Condition?

no extras just like i got it new except it will be run for the 6th race weekend this week so it will prob be dirty when I purchase it.

Tell him to stick with the K3, I've got the 777 and I really don't like it!! I would rather drive my K2 anyday over this POS! I think I should have waited a little while and gotten the X-Ray!

I have a K3 that I race and I want to replace my sons Ofna Worlds Gt with a K3. I really want the Xray too but it would be stupid because then I would have the xray and my son would have the K3. I have alot of parts on hand for the K3 so it only makes sense to have the same car as my son. The Xray is pretty sweet.

I just bought a used k3 from a guy at our track for $575. He is the fastest guy at the track, and has only had the car for 6 months. He's meticulous, and it had many extras.

Racers edge braces, k factor hinge pins, all new fresh bearings, diffs, and shocks. And a large zip lock bag full of spares. Along with one airtronics 94358z servo.

I'll be keeping this one around, and going with either the x-ray, or the 777 next season.

Woody what are your thoughts on the 777. Other than what you have already said. Could you elaborate on it some more.I just did a trade for a k-2 and should be getting it tomorrow. I have seen the 777 assembleld but havn't seen it run yet .Just curious on your thoughts.

if the fastest guy just sold his car, what did he replace it with. to sell a 6 month old car thats the fastest on the track, he must think there is something else out there thats faster. I'm just curious as to what he traded to.
