  1. Bashing
I blew my Ez-start motor yesterday after bashing (I am soooo lucky it never stalls and starts real easy or it would have died during bashing). So for the time being I have no way to start my .15. I was thinking....Can I take the pull start off my 2.5R and use the ez start to heat the glow plug? I should be getting my TMAXX today. If everything works out well, I might be able to run it. I'm in the middle of pulling the .15 from my pede so it can go in the TMAXX for the time being.

pro .15 ez start wont fit 2.5/3.3 engines nor will the owb
if you have a 2.5 i would suggest putting that into the maxx if the truck is a 2.5
the first gen maxxs came with the pro .15 ,they had a few things different like the throttle linkages as the 2.5 has a slide carb vs the pro .15 which has a rotary carb
if you have your engines running well i would recomend going for a pull start and a glo ignitor to set yourself up with that would cost about $30 then you dont have to worry about the pesky ez start

Well, there goes my plans for the day. As much as I would love to put the 2.5R in the TMAXX (yes it is a 2.5 tmaxx) it is not broken in yet and I am going to wait until it warms up before I break it in. So for now I'll just run the .15 pro. I'll get creative with the throttle linkage and whatever else I have to change.

You could buy the linkage set for the pro .15
I have one at home dont have the part number on me check the traxxas site think mine was about 5 bucks

I was trying to find one but I cannot find the part number anywhere. If worse comes to worse I'll buy some linkage set and bend/cut it myself.

Found and ordered. Thanks. $5.10

i found that you can take the gears out of a E-Z start. and file/grind the gears so they are looser in gear box, mostly the I.D. on the gears. will reduce power needed to run them.
