Hi Guys,

I was wondering if the guys with 1/8 rc's with hop up aluminum arms could measure the width of the end that the pin goes through to mount it to the chassis / bulk head and the overall length on the front / rear + top / bottom arms. if you could state what vehicle its from that would be great.

the reason i ask is that I'm thinking of extending the width of my wheel base and i want to use aluminum arms so longer the better.

i know its cheeky thing to ask but thought i would give it a shot :)

aluminum suspension arms are not good for performance and durability as we says, cause it use to bend not unlike with plastic it absorbs the impact. but for looks aluminum better, for showing only nothing else.

oooh, thats not good, my buggy is seriously hardcore bashed!

thanks for the heads up.

Best thing to find is a set of rpm lower arms for it. They are made of nylon and super strong and flexible. Alot cheaper than aluminum as well and you probably will never have to replace them.

Plus buggys are generally the most stable and best handling rigs with stock length arms. If your having a problem keeping it from rolling over its more your driving style than handling problem. I still manage to roll mine occasionally but for the best part after driving it more I'm getting alot better. They are alot different than driving a MT or any other rig besides a truggy.

Thanks for the advice on rpm products.

Its not so much a fact of constant rolling, more a fact of rolling over when i really dont want it too ie: when its a distance away from me or in the mud.

A slightly wider wheel base will help eliminate it more with my aggressive bashing style.

You can also play with your suspension settings to better your handling and roll overs. Soften the spring rate up a little at a time till you fine the sweet spot.
