Fortunatly my wife is pretty supportive of my hobby but even she has beaten me with a rubber hose on more than one occassion when she saw how much money was missing out of the bank or how many RC receipts are piled up on the "bills" desk at home lol. You would think Id be smart enough to hide them better O_o

"Why is there so much money missing from the account"......"That damn mini van sucks gas like you wouldn't believe honey, I've had to fill the tank 3 times this week!"

What about when they go out and spend $60 on a manicure, or $80 for a hair cut:whhooo:...we are not aloud to say anything about that!!!

LMAO.....no doubt....you can't say things like "I bought you those damn breast implants....WTF more do you want?!" you can't say that ohhhhh no....that doesn't count! lol

when changing the bulks, if you have to remove the diffs mark the upside during removal. if the diffs are accidentally flipped, that axle will try to push the truck backwards when running. happened to me once, i flipped one diff and the front and rear were trying to pull the truck apart. :hehe:

Stupid question, but what are the diffs. I know it means differentials, but what part is that exactly in the picture below?

I think its the part that sits between the bulks if I'm not mistaken but I just want to make sure.

BTW, this picture is the stock setup just after I removed it. Getting ready for the FLM parts I ordered that should be here friday. Plus I just like taking things apart haha

Heres the rear end with almost everything removed

Here is my new body prepped for paint

And here is the first coat... The bumpers. I might be biting off more than I can chew on this paint job as I am trying to be too detailed for my artistic ability, but we will see when its finished I guess.

nice job

Hella nice looking paint job man! can't wait to see it when its all finished. Your going to have one good looking Tmaxx....and this is just the beginning!

Thanks ant. Its getting there. Its hard to get an idea of what it will look like with the way I have it taped off, but just an idea, black bumpers, blue front end, blue A-pillars, and blue where the clear part is currently showing, white hood scoop, white stars in the blue, red and white stripes in the back portion where it is also taped off in blue right now. Then I will have clear windows and put the grill, headlight and tailight stickers on the outside. And I think that should be it. I dont think I'm adding the T-Maxx stickers or anything to it. I wish they would make the supplied stickers to be sticky on the front side so you can put them inside before you paint but oh well.

Alright, well it might look a little girly now, so hang in there, but here is the second coat of paint on the body. You can kind of see where I am going with things.
