upgrade parts

iv read alot online that the standard shocks on the savage x 4.6 dont last very long and and theres a spur gear that breaks easy , i do wanna bash it and jump it heaps is there any parts i should upgrade straight out of the box ?

sumone was saying upgrade to big bore shocks to handle the inpact of massive landings anything else

A lighter shock oil might soften your landings..

The new savage already comes with the big bore shocks, and the plastic spur gear will last a lifetime when properly meshed.

I was getting 20 to 25 feet of air start up strat down no problems with my X big bore's and the stock spur out lasted my steel spur by far , I did spend some time getting my air and oil in the shocks just right for my likin
