upgrade motor in traxxas nitro vee

I want to upgrade my motor in my nitro vee with an O.S. 15 cvm-x marine engine. My local hobby shop doesn't have a clue on what I need if anything to swap motors. Any help would be awsome.

This is a little bit off of your topic, but I've been wanting a nitro boat for a while now.... How do you like the Nitro Vee? Fast? Handle good? RTS work good? Overall, how do you like it??

I have had a blast with my boats. I have two as of now. The nitro vee and the 1/12 miss bud boat. Just got the bud boat last week and have only ran it once, so isn't broken in yet. But they are both pretty fast boats. I would recomend the traxxas nitro vee since it has the rts system, so if it stalls it comes back. When i took the miss bud boat to start the brake in period, it died several times. Luckily I work at a local marina and have accsess to our jon boats to retrieve it!

I just ordered a traxxas blast boat..yeah its electric but it looked fast on the video. Hope the lil sucker is as fun as it looked on TV!!!!!!!
