Unloved Kyosho Zaboon restoration

Hi all, This is my resto project on an old and unloved Kyosho Zaboon (As identified by the good people of this forum)

I paid £20 complete with transmitter and bodyshell.

. Here goes.....

Its a bit rough under the shell.......

The old electrics are to be replaced with a brushless motor and ESC..........

And of course the makeshift front bumper is attached using wood screws!!!
The stripdown.......

HOW does a metal pin get bent???

The arms cleaned up nicely with a Dremel..


Who needs shock oil??

I'll probably put the old electrics back in to keep it as authentic as i can to sell it.........

.....Or have some more fun with it first?

Hi I just bought one similar condition any idea where to find some parts like steering linkage or is there a later model that I could adapt to upgrade the sloppy steering
