I bought this well used unit a whole ago and have been working on this one off and on in between other things. I thought it was in pretty decent shape, but as I tore it down, I kept finding more issues.

Parts have been an issue, as Venom/Atomik had been out of business for quite a while now.

Last week, when I pulled apart the "working" gearbox, the teeth of the gears were packed full of dirt and on several of the gears the teeth were nearly gone.

After poking around to find some with no luck, I thought I would try 3D printing some. I drafted them up using FreeCAD and used an Anycubic resin printer, using their ABS-like resin and they came out beautifully! On the first try, the tolerance on the bearing cavities were too tight, but nailed it on the second try.

We'll see how they hold up once I get the rest of it together.

Speaking of parts... Anyone happen to have some Hot Racing CRP1901 c-hubs laying around?
