Well, I was looking to build another Ultima and since I upgraded some parts from my rere I was going to make one all stock like on the box and the other with upgraded parts and a different body and color scheme, so I wanted to get a different chassis. Seems I may just go with the og tub after all.

That ebay link is the chassis used for both the Kyosho Ultima 2 and the Outlaw Ultima truck. The Outlaw was a modification of the Ultima 2 that used most of the same parts (chassis, transmission, steering, front/rear arms) but changed the suspension and body mounting system to give it a more truck-like stance and accept the truck body.

There was a time back in the 90s that I was thinking about converting my Ultima 2 into an Outlaw because it required very few part changes, but my budget as a teenager never let it happen .
