Welcome to RCTALK.COM!!!

It looks like this car has panels that screw to the chassis directly. Is that correct?

If so, perhaps 3d prints of other styles are availible?

My thoughts are to look into lexan alternatives.
I recommend taking a measurement of your wheel base and width so you can determine which size bodies might fit.
You can contact teambluegroove.com about your project. They can help you figure out what fits too. I strongly recommend this route if lexan is your goal.

Sabula tech, Parma, Leadfinger Racing and McAllister are all great sources of Lexan too.

I have personally dealt with TBG. They are AWESOME to deal with though sometimes a bit busy so slow with email sometimes.
They are in Canada too so bodies cost less in US dollars. 😎

ty @CertifiedMike really appreciated.

I thought about buying a lexan body from another tamiya chassi. I want to shed some weight on the top, but I am not sure which other tamiya body would fit. I thought attacking it with velcro-tape on the bottom chassi piece.

I am located in Germany, but we also get older tamiya bodies.

I thought about the body of the Neo Scorcher, but the owner of the shop said it might not fit.

Don't know really where to look hence I ended up here :)

I would still contact teambluegroove.com for this. 😉

I am not positive that they ship to Germany but I am positive they can set you in the right direction to finding a body that fits well.

Have you considered truck, baja bug, or other styles as well?

You have likely got a lot of options to choose from. 👍😎
