I have an ofna violator (9.5 with longer a arms) and i was putting on the ofna to traxxas offset adapters... but i can't get the damn pin out. i got the drivers side, but the passenger side's allen screws stripped! (theres a pin in the axel holding on the hub and an allen screw holding the pin in place) the traxxas adaptors have a rubber band type part that holds the ins in, so after i get the stripped screws out (their screws without heads) i can easily put on my 40 series... but what product do i use to remove those chunks of metal!!!!:arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

try a reverse drill bit. there made to bite counterclockwise so when they do bite they will turn the screw out. i can't remeber the "correct" name for them.

"E-Z out" is the term you're lookin for. I don't know if they make 'em that small, though.

Try stud, screw removers. simply drill a pilot hole in the stud/bolt/screw you want to remove, then tap in the stud/bolt/screw remover and turn the thing out. Easy as 1 2 3. Practical engineering goes a looooong way !!

he'd have to get the Axles too then....
I took the axle and hub off my buggy....put it in a vice...tap teh pin out, yes this is a bitch....but w/ a small punch and a hammer it wil force it out and shred the pin on the way...once I got the pin out the stripped screw had less pressure and I could get a lil bite w/ teh driver and back it out....drilling the lil set screw is a bitch cause if you strip the threads you'll have a hard time findign a slightly larger set screw for the thread you re-tap into it.....

Also refered to as a left handed drill bit.....

You can also try the same size torq bit instead of the allen head bit if you have one, I've got many of stripped allen heads out that way.
