TX not Compatible with RX?..or what? Yinz tell me..

Soo...the losi's gettin better each time i run it. finally decided to run it around the lot, well..all works great, till i get about 10 feet away from myself...then the radio loose's communication!? so here's the deal.. the RX is a plain ole basic LOSI Receiver. and my Controller is a Traxxas controller. THey work great when their close together, but liek i said, more than 10 ft apart, and they loose communication... The antenna wire seems to be fine, its always had a plastic whip over it, and doesn't seem to be tore or ripped anywhere? so what am i missing guys?

are they just NOT compatible? help a newbie out pleeeeezzzeeeee! lol thanks guys/gals.

I would get a reciver to match the transmitter that would be the best. If there both 2.4ghz you could try rebinding the reciver to the transmitter but i dont like mix& match.

yah i just got back from browsing ebay, bout 20 bucks i can have a traxxas 2.4 receiver 2 or 3 channel. but i only need 2. so i think that'll be my best route. sucks though, wish i could have it NOW!!! lol

anywho, i guess that'll be my best route afterall... now i need to figure out if the traxxas receiver will work with the losi servo pigtails? lol..ugh...

Get the reciver for what the transmitter is 2ch or 3ch.You could always change the plug on the servos.

yah 2 channel trans so ill get a 2 chan receiver as well. as for servo ends, BRILLANT! lol Thanks mr bill !!

So...I'm browsing the receivers, some have "Bec" and some dont!?...whats "Bec"??

I thought all esc's had a bec. either way, if its nitro you dont need one, if its electric you do.
