what would be a good long lasting battery pack for my TX for around $30

What kind of tx? A lot of manufacturers will offer packs for some of their radios. However, most of the affordable radios only have the capability to use AA batteries. If that's the case, just go find some good, high capacity NIMh batteries to use...

if you are lookiing for good bats for your tx and it is only/mainly a regular AA cell compatable... you can go to target or circuit city and get the rechargable nimh batts there. they last a long ass time and they charge in like 2 hours. i got a bunch of 2000 mah bats that i originally used for my savage, the savage would destroy regular aas in about 30 minutes, but the nimh aas lasted for quite a bit longer. the price may be anywhere from 20-50 depending on where you go. i hear that my friend got them at target for like 20 bucks with a charger, check them out

i got a Airtronics MX-s tx and i can take packs Airtronics offers pack i saw em at Tower but theyre almost $50 thats real steap for a pack but they ones that are cheap but not alot of capacity and my tx east AA's pritty fast it goes from like 11.8 volts to like 8.5 in 1 1/2 hours maybe a lil bit more

if you dont want to spend the $$ on the packs i suggest you just go to target and get the rechargable nimh AAs
