I have Airtronics FM M11 with 30 model memory and Iitec lynx 4s with 60 model memory. I want the Spectrum 6r pro but ??? It doesn't use GPS for speed.

This goes for all my builds. What's a good alternative to buying a ton of batteries all the time for remotes and the trucks?

Got a new remote set up. DX3. And either it isn't paired and I can't get it to pair or my servos are all totally dead. Instructions are not that user beginner friendly.
hear the DX3 is a great transmitter, as said if you arent using the receiver for it or one compatible it wont work.

No we got it to work. It's set up for electric out the box. On top of that we had some weak batteries in the servo battery pack and didn't know it for awhile. But we can't get reverse to sync on the remote just yet.

Sometimes you have to turn on the 3rd channel in programming. I would rebind it so you know how to do it and use new batteries. Make sure to hold brake when you turn on transmitter to set fail safe. READ PAGE 6!!!!!!

Had to change the name of this thread. My lack of patience got the best of me. However I'm very glad it did as I was able to pick up a whole tmaxx with 2 motors for 160. Took all of 20 to 30 minutes and it was up and running. I'll post pictures later. It's just like the other one I showed on here that's been upgraded. Only thing is this one was done the right way and doesn't look like a hack job.

Going to run it thru its paces later today. Tune it a bit and go from there. Put new steering and throttle servos on it. Fresh batteries and filled it full of fuel.

Here are pictures of my newest acquisition.

Here we go with my not knowing certain things again! Lol. Preload spacers? I got 3 fuel filters. Paid like 3 dollars. I was just looking on Amazon last night for a body for my Traxxas and ran across the pin clips, washers for the pin clips to go on the body shell, fuel filters, and something else. Everything is suppose to be here tomorrow.

Not sure where the whole using a fuel filter came from. I'm not against it. In fact I wanted to buy some way sooner. And as I'm learning things, so is my buddy. Who is kind of my mechanic. Ha ha. We decided the filters weren't needed. Now, there seems to be a real need to have them. I just know way back when these things were all new that a fuel filter wasn't even a thought.

I see all the trucks are missing shock preload spacers. They will make the shocks stiffer. You will need a lot of them. Truck bodies are on Ebay $30 and up. Amazon is limited to parts.

I went with Amazon because I will get it sooner. In fact everything will be here today that I ordered. Unless I have to I'm done buying parts and such for awhile.
