your kidding right, i felt like we all but built that SP1 for you last winter.
on the not smart ass side, drive the crap out of that sp1, not just this past summer, run it all next season too. really learn how to drive it, learn what setup changes do to affect the way it handles. get it really working good for you. make sure you know how to tune the engine to make it do what you want. by the time your driving well, and know how to change your car, Kawahara will have the conversion kit available for you to make it easy. everything just bolts right together. this will only benefit you in the end. while truggies are fun to drive, they are not as durable as buggies, and they mask your driving mistakes and setup errors. if you have already gotten pretty good at those, then your truggy experience will be much more rewarding.
now for another winter project. i see your in colorado so nitro season will be done for you over the winter. find yourself an indoor track for the winter, preferably onroad. visit several on racedays to see what the popular classes are. talk to the racers to find the best class for you that fits in your budget. this will teach you consistant driving and how to manuever in traffic, and keep you sharp for next season.
