Hello, I just bought a turbo engine for NTC3 and a few turbo glow plugs. They did not come with a washer. Do I need one??

turbo engines do not use washers for the glow plug due to the tapered threads.

Like he said, no washer need as the reason for the tapered head is to minimize the gap between the piston at the top of it's stroke and the glow plug itself making for a smaller combustion area. This enables the engine to reach a little higer in the rpm range and hypotheically for a little more top end speed. At least that is the way I understand anyone feel free to jump in if I mixed anything up.

bump.

any advantages/disadvantages with the turbo button.

I have a sirio .18 with one in a bag. Been debating to give it a try and see if its a noticable diff.
