121 posts, so far. All the good advise you ever needed, and now everyone is getting frustrated because you won't do what they've suggested. Most new members are exceedingly thankful for what they've been told to do because they didn't understand the engine, but YOU are now cursing out our long term members due to your own stubborn ways.

if you look at my posts, and read my replays, every time I've been given ideas or directions I have thanked them. I took what they said and applied it 98 percent of the time. there were a few things I didn't follow but not much, and everything they have said and told me has helped me learn so much and I'm beyond thankful for everything I've learned. I treat my girlfriend with complete respect, if she didn't want it up she would have told me, we live together, I pay both of our bills, she doesn't work.
the reason I got defensive was because I didn't like being jumped like that, if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be where I am with my truck. but what he said really offended me.
I'm talking tewards just the 2 not everyone.

this is my actual plan, I'm not upgrading it any more, said that a few posts back, I'm going to be putting money aside for a savage, thata what I want next, but I've learned a lot so far.
put it this way, when I got the truck I was afraid to take the tires off lol, now I've pretty much rebuilt the whole thing, and I'm proud of it, regardless of the name. why? because I took some hunk of just I paid a tad too much for and turned it into a beast. its already fast and its getting a 2 speed I can't wait!

the reason I'm going with an exceed for the lady, well it's ssimple, I won't have to worry about her breaking it that much or abusing it like I will, so won't go fast or far she will just putt around, and a big boy rig would be pointless.

I'm always gonna keep my volcano, just becauae it's unique, and its my first and how much I've put into it. unless it somehow goes to complete crap in a week lol

and I've already. been looking at savages. my next door labor has an older savage, bit he isn't as acknowledgable, he told me my high speed was my low speed lol

it was running great then it randomly died, and now it won't idle, I swear if I killed this motor I'm so done. I'm so upset right now
I've tried tuning, it I give it gas it runs, but dies at idle. just cuts out

There is a lot of good info here and a lot of knowledgeable veterans of the hobby. I'm glad I found this forum. Speaking of veterans I was at a hobby shop today and found out the guy running it was the same guy who sold me my first rc in 1988. His shop has a different name and location but I almost poop when I put 2 and 2 together and asked him. He helped me out so much when I was just a teenager. Now at 40 I'm once again giving him my money lol.
