?No worries, man. Just keep up the tenacious attitude and you'll be fine. You don't want to know the crap I went through when I first got started (with my Exceed)...but it's a great learning experience.
You think if you have learned anything from this it would be to stop buying off brand rc's, stay away from Exceed!
I would not sink more money into your truck as far as upgrades go, spend some money to get it going, spend some money on keeping it going, learn the basics as best you can. Have fun with it, and well doing that save for a name brand rc.
Check or change your glow plug. If it was running good and then just wasn't, there's no reason to think idle gap or tune problem.
Remember when I took the time to give you the advice "to NOT try and break in a new engine in 30 degree weather!"

Don't get frustrated smittyzz, I've been in your situation a few times. If you need to, just walk away from the truck for a day to clear your head. Hopefully its something simple that your missing. When you get back to it , pull the head off and make sure you don't see any metal shavings...it only takes a minute.
