Du-bro makes miniature tubing benders which make quick work of bending the brass fuel lines for nitro RC planes, but they have a fatal flaw - due to the placement of the handles, they can't do "Z" bends, and I found myself needing some more intricate tube work than they offered, and the other options for miniature tube bending are prohibitively expensive.

So, I sliced one of the arms off, drilled a fresh groove into the cut face, then drilled, tapped, and screwed in a long m3 bolt and some spacers to make a new handle:

And now even tight z-bends are a breeze:

To allow for some wacky-straw like fuel tubing on my "miniature" nitro model that's squeezing everything down to 1/2A size:

Here's another pic, the final setup, with a filler neck going upwards.

The engine will mount in these 3 smaller holes and covers the big one, which is why I had to route the fuel tubes out like this. I'll use spare servo grommets to make a seal between the brass tubes and the holes in the firewall.
