I don't feel like pulling it apart just to find out, I've sked several others who own one and they all ask me "who told you that crap" and emphaticaly deny it being an issue. Not to mention the fact that I've examined the buggy closely and can't see how anyone could arrive at that conclusion. The only weak point I see so far is where the chassis attaches to the diff housing, a slight crack in the plastic housing, that's it. It's a very easy buggy to drive. Let me know if you're interested in the RS7 or the Max M5.
PS,
I switched to Odonnell 30%, and both motors (P5 & Crono RS3) seem to run bettr and are easier to tune.
