yeh the sherpa class. just love the look of the trx

They will feel totally different, but that's not a bad thing, just different. :thumbs-up: Sometimes ya just gotta go with what appeals to you.
we dont feel anything in our rcs. we might get a rush like the way they will move. even with telemetry we feel NOTHING..

Welcome aboard Captn, The Defender is a cool rig, with some minor mods it can be a real beauty.
Of my 3, I would say the Defender is my best crawler, despite the heavy , tall body. The only thing I've done was add heavy brass porter axle covers to the front and rear. It performs so well, I have no plan to mod it any further. The TRX4 platform is just a proven successful platform, right out of the box.
The Traxxas stock esc did crap out, and I replaced it with a $40 crawling specific, programmable Hobbywing esc. This esc is awesome!

I'm highly confident you'll like it. It crawls as smooth as butter, gets up to about 12mph in 2nd gear, and those stock tires are excellent!
