anyone ever done a truck pull before i mean put a couple weights in the front bumper area and hook up to a cart with some bench weights and pull it
omg that kick a$$
 
It kinda takes a little more than that.........
for one, the "kart" or "SLED" is actually a pretty complicated rig, involving pullys and movable tray's and all kinda stuff that actually moves the weights from over the axles of the sled, to the flat part with no wheels on the front of the sled....

One thing you HAVE to do to your rig, is go to a set of aluminum clutch shoes....
here was my sled pulling rig with a complete list of hopups.
This rig was run in a big block Monster truck category..

With putting that much strain on the rear of my vehicle, i upgraded my turnbuckles on the rear to some that are like 3x the size of stock.

thank you i was wondering if it was possible

but I've done it with my show truck before and it seamed to do well consdering its almost all alloy and pretty freaking heavy
 
Sled Pulling Class Rules


Outlaw Unlimited 4x4

· Must be a glow plug type engine with a displacement of no more than 1.5 ci. (24.0 cc) total mounted on vehicle. Multiple engines design is allowed.

· Minimum tire size 5”H x 3.25”W. Custom cut tires allowed.

· Maximum hitch height 3.5 in. measured at inside bottom of hook point.

· Maximum length of vehicle including weight box is 30 in.

· Minimum competition weight is 21 Lbs.

Big Block 4x4
· Must be driven by a glow plug type engine with a max displacement of .32 ci.

· Minimum tire size 5”H x 3.25”W. Custom cut tires allowed.

· Maximum hitch height 3.5 in. measured at inside bottom of hook point.

· Maximum competition weight is 20 Lbs.

Small Block 4x4
· Maximum engine displacement of .20 ci.

· Minimum tire size 5”H x 3.25”W. Custom cut tires allowed.

· Maximum hitch height 3.5 in. measured at inside bottom of hook point.

· Maximum competition weight is 15 Lbs.

Electric 4x4
· Only brushed motors 550 cans or smaller will be allowed.

· 14 cell max.

· Maximum competition weight is 15 Lbs.

· Maximum hitch height 3.5 in. measured at inside bottom of hook point.

Minimum tire size 5”H x 3.25”W. Custom cut tires allowed.
