thanks :D

I've never heard of the brand, but from what I've heard they aren't that good of quality. You'd be better off spending a little more money and going for a better known brand such as HPI, Traxxas, Losi, etc.

I got my T-Maxx 4908 extended version for 365.00 shipped from ebay..It came pretty quick too..

That truck seems pretty descent from the ad.Like the ad says and it does look like a Kyosho Mad Force and the engine is Japan made which is better than Taiwan made..Now you have to find some actual owners and get their perspective..Good Luck on your choice

I reccommend going to you LHS (Local Hobby Shop) and seeing what parts the stock ETC. then look online for a cheaper price on the types of cars/turcks/parts they stock, just to save yourself from ordering everything to you which could become expensive with an un-reliable nitro car/turck

They are pretty good vehicles for the price. I have one of their on-road car that works good. However, only get this if you plan on running occasionally because you have to order parts (to my knowledge no LHS carry their products). I'm not saying your going to have to order a ton of parts because they break a lot, just any car breaks:(. That is the only problem I've had.

The one you have needs to be looked over good , disassembled,-properly cleaned up with denatured alchohol if the engine looks good and seems tight enough to run again....These things are overpowered compared to the ones I had in my day and going back 8-9 years ago...The more powerful they make them the more unreliable they become and quicker to wear out.....even more so when you add big blocks...

The most common things to do is get fresh receiver /transmitter batteries and check to see if the electronics still function....Then you need to remove the engine and gastank from the chassis ,remove the carb and give it a good cleaning/inspection,,,then you need to remove the ez-starter and plate from the engine to inspect the rod condition and see if there is excessive play plus clean it up with denatured alchohol and reoiling the rod pin , piston pin, piston and cylinder after drying it up....Wash out the fueltank, change the fuelline and puffer lines, clean out the fuelfilter too,,reassemble the engine and seal it with sensor safe RTV or high tack sealer to make sure it doesn't leak air...inspect the slipperclutch, spurgear, clutch ,clutch bell and bearings for smooth operation and useability

Go over the drive axles and wheel bearings to make sure they are smooth acting , lube them and reassemble the truck,,,adjust the carb back to factory settings with a new glowplug in it,fresh fuel in the tank and fresh batteries...

That should get the one you have running again or clean enough to ebay.....Good luck
