RC Driving Style
hi all,
i want to buy a new buggy, but can't make my mind up ether to get the HPI TROPHY 3.5 or HOBAO HYPER TQ 28 which are both RTR`S
would love to hear your comments as i can't decide??? i will only be using it to bash around the roads and at the local school over rough ground.
cheers ant:D

HPI baby, new to hobby myself but have purchased the savage 4.6 and the pulse 4.6 love them both stock, over my traxxas and ofna

The D8s is a mad awesome machine, that would be my choice. Although, I do have a OFNA (made by Hobao) Violator 9.5. Bought it new in 2003, still going strong after 7 or so gallons of fuel. Replaced exactly 1 turnbuckle and the gas tank. Durable? Yea, I'd say so.

wat is your carb setting for 3.5 and wat plug do you use

HSN flush with top of housing and LSN is flush with barrel idle i aprox 1mm gap. this is for breakin. mine is broken in and hsn is about 1 and an 8th turns in from flush and low is about 1 turn in. but that is for my area. It with be dif any where you go. As far as plug I primarily use a cold plug on hot days 80 -100 and medium on cooler days 60-- 80 I don't run much below 60 but if I do i'll run a hot plug. I also use oddennel plug they're reliable and cheaper.
