Um , qarrt , this is an electric motor in this truck . It's not a nitro . So I don't know what you mean when you say " easy start " ?

I think he is talking about the electric motor that the easy start system uses. Traxxas has great brushed motors, but since Christmas I have read a few threads where the motors have failed prematurely. Sometimes they're just hit or miss. I'm not sure if Traxxas electric motors require break-in or not, maybe that's the reason? Either way, the motor that's used on the easy start system isn't bad for it's intended purpose.

With proper care, it will be just like any other traxxas product. You'll have a reliable ride, great parts support, and a vast knowledge base for problems you may face down the road or potential upgrades.

When i had my brushed rustler, it failed 3 motors with maybe 5 cycles with a little bity 1500 mah battery. But the slash one lasted a couple of weeks, with the 4600mah 7cell, b4 i went brushless. The velineon motor now has about 8 lipo runs on it, with i'd say 3.5 -4 hours of runtime and is still going strong.

My Slash motor took a crap real quick & I did the water break-in on it. It ran real well at first & then after about 6-8 packs in dumped in a hurry. Thank god for brushless! LOL!!

my easy start to start nitro engines the first one started the car 15times and then one of the brushes got bent.

That's a common problem,it stems from running the starter too long & over heating it. You need to give them a break or they'll get hot fast!

ya i run it 20sec at a time when the car doesent start easy
