Traxxas slash 4x4 motor fan

Hey everyone - I’m wondering if there’s an upgraded fan for the motor in my son’s slash. I just want to slap it on, plug it in and be done. No soldering, not external battery for a high powered fan. He’s only 4, but runs it hard at 50% power and broke the fan.

Should I just get a stock replacement? Advice appreciated.

Most fans plug right into the esc.

Fans usually can be powered via a jst plug. Either can be powered off of the esc. Or you can use a jst to futaba servo plug extension and plug it into the receiver using the aux channel/s.
I use ProTek 30x30x30 aluminum fans for my race buggy, for my motor. For my ESCs, I use included Hobbywing fans (as I am a big Hobbywing guy, lol)
My uncle uses WTF fans (Wild Turbo Fans, not the actual slang one. )

They pretty much plug into the ESC, i would highly not get anything plastic go with Aluminum. The first time a truck flips plastic is breaking.
