So, i picked up this sledge this year. Its great and I absolutely love it. I might put a castle x8s esc and 1650kv motor in it this winter. However, I've been contemplating getting an XRT purely for 1/5th scale reasons, sledge is 1/8th.. 1/5th seems fun.. If i did, I would probably sell the sledge.
Sledge runs on 6s, so I know id have to get 8 or even 12s to be comparable speed wise right off the rip.
Sledge has great air control, speed and handles well for my purposes.
I'm looking for someone with 1st hand experience with each one. Pros and cons to both, do or donts, etc.
Would the XRT need to be on 12s to be comparable to my 6s sledge, etc?
Thanks!
P S.:
If anyone's looking to get rid of an xrt and you're into car audio, I've got some valuable stuff for trade😎

Well all I did was add a Max5 and kept the stock motor. Only issue is space. It eats up the terrain fast. If you have space it's a really unique ride. Sort of like small scale handling in a jumbo size. I don't use mine much because you need so much space. And it destroys lawns. Steering servo stock sucks. Stock ESC is ok. It can handle high power systems from Castle. Hobbywing, XC or whatever you throw at it. Just upgrade it as it breaks. Motor mount adaptor let's you run bigger motors if you're into over kill. My only con is running space and steering servo is dookie.

Thanks for your insight. If I were to ever get an XRT, it'd soley be for the 1/5th scale size.
I've decided to make my sledge a rowdy animal, I think it'll be more suitable.
If I ever come across a good deal for one, I might get it just because and keep it for a season and see how I like it
