Traxxas Grave Digger Run

Nothing really special yet, but this is only on 7.2v nimh and it's really not a bad truck. I am going to throw my Castle 3800kv combo in it and gear it for wheelies. Going to get a different body for bashing though.

It is fun when you get it riding a wheelie. It goes pretty straight surprisingly. It is a truck I really want to hop up, so if anyone has any good suggestions, I am starting a list of parts to get

If you turn the wheels she should steer the way you turn. As you do more wheelies, that tranny case will shave. When it does, with good throttle control, you can hit balance point or flirt going up past and coming down past bp like a sport bike.

I miss my xl5. Looks like your gonna have fun. If you go traxxas wheelie bar, the $20 aluminum wheelie bar wheels are amazing.

I never thought of trying to turn the wheels during a wheelie on this. Now that sounds like a lot of fun! Our Granite does that, but it's 4wd. And yeah, if this had just a bit more power, it would be a lot easier to ride em out.

Thats the way to do it. I used to do it on a Kawasaki 450 and hung out with the stunters, so its like a game to me. can't wait to see how this truck ends.

I have yet to look around, but are there any good chassis upgrades for these? I may stick with the Traxxas aluminum hopups on this. Not sure yet.

I have the 1/8 chassis with factory plastic braces. Bought it 2010 or 2011. I love it. They have factory, revo 2.5 and revo 3.3 lengths.

Looks pretty danged fun! I never thought I would like monster trucks, but they are starting to appeal to me. But then again, I thought crawlers would be boring, then I got addicted to them.

I like that the Grave Digger matches Braden's splint. How is is finger doing? It doesn't seem like it's slowed down his driving any.

Yeah, I actually said something about his green cast matching the truck, but did the music overlay instead. He said it didn't really hurt when he broke it. And it wasn't hurting him before he got the cast. His mom said it was just a slight fracture, so he will heal up just fine. I keep telling him the being made of rubber thing is wearing off

It is a lot different than driving the 4wd Granite, and yeah, it's really fun to drive. It just needs a little more power...

I am really surprised they didn't continue making this Grave Digger. It really is a cool looking truck. A lot better looking than the Axial version in my opinion.
