Hi, thinking of either getting a Hpi Savage SS or Mad Force. The thing is that I am only 15 and dont drive, so it is tricky to trasport the MT. Can you buy bags or something like that to put your MT in and all of the gear.

For example, if I am going to a friends house, and we want to go to the park, I would want to carry the truck in something. I was thinking of taking the wheels off, and transporting it in a sports bag but i think it is not really suitable.

what do you guys recommend. thanks

Josh

They make several just for the purpose you describe. Some are way out there expensive.

I think you are on the right tack with a very large sports bag. I picked one up about two years ago, I used to used it as my dive bag.

Now it fits the t-maxx, tool box, and fuel no problem. It also has room for another ride, but it would be awkward.

I got mine from a roadside luggage vendor for $20 I wish I would havebought more of them.

I tryed all kinds of things so I don't have to make 20 trips to the truck. (can't park at the bmx track). The big long sports bag has been the best so far.

Here's alink to somethign that would fit you well. These look perfect. They do look a little spendy tho at $60 $70 maybe you can find them cheaper elsewhere, me I prefer a hard plastic crate, stuffed into a sprots bag :D

I just bought a bag from tower(actually my wife got it for me for my b-day). It fits a 21 maxx, a gallon of fuel, and all the equipment you need for a good days worth of bashing: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDCV3&P=7

Only thing is, it doesn't have a shoulder strap, but I make due.

A friend of mine has this one:

But his 21 maxx barely fits into it. It's a nice bag, with shoulder strap and all sorts of compartments. It's a little more deluxe than the one I have that's up above. Just not as big inner size.

my bag is worthless now

tmaxx with ext suspension doesn't fit unless i take the tires off

so i just carry it - i use a plastic tub in my trunk so i dont get oil stains on my interior

if you have a local Linens n' Things store around you, go there and check it out. thats where i got a box for my savage .21. it fits the savage, radio, gas, and all my tools and even has wheels on the bottom. its plastic and clear so you can see through it. it works for me. or try to check target or wal-mart too.

i found some plastic container at wally world but its too long and barely fits in my car. and if my truck were any wider it wouldnt fit anymore. id love to find one a little shorter so i could get it in my trunk a little nicer. also its fairly short, and i couldnt fit the top so i threw the top away. i searched for one but found nothing beside the one i have already. thought about making my own out of wood or something.

i dont really want a case to carry it with, i just dont like fuel/oil stains in my carpet.
