transmitters is 2 channel tachniplus and esc is ascoms. how do i reset esc?

Have you searched online for a manual? Never heard of those but I'm more of a nitro person. Some ESCs are programmed by holding a button and watching how the light flashes and some others use a programming card or computer links.

It does sound like and ESC reprogram is due.
Look up the name, model # of the ESC and add .pdf at the end of your search line.

Does this help at all:

or possibly this model:

As for the ESC, we need model number, but check this:

This is for the AT8 ESC:
Once you plug battery in and turn on Radio, esc light flashes for about 2 seconds, press set button once.

Put the throttle stick in the full forward position, then press the set button once. The light should blink twice.

Put the throttle stick in full reverse position, then press the set button once. The light should blink 3 times.

Really not much on the company, as it is an older UK company and they rebrand through others like JR...

HTH...

this is my esc.. do i have to remove something because i can't see any buttons or anything.

I've decided to take them into the model shop they are only gonna charge me £25 for both rcs to sort all the problems out. :)

From what I could find online of the AR-201 ESC, it's just a plug and play type setup. No buttons or dials for tuning/programming/binding...

Unless you really like the two stick controller (appears it is how many UK R/C came in the pat, especially Tamiya) you should be able to upgrade to a basic 2.4Ghz pistol radio and ESC, like a Tactic or even a take-out Traxxas unit for little money.

Good luck with it!

well took it to the model shop today turns out it was the speed controller that was at fault.. so i bought an automatic one, installed it myself and guess what...works a dream! feels good to fix something!

Hehe i had such a fix today,,driving the cars i had just fixed up! :D

i don't know why but the more cars i have the more i want!! O.O

Yes that is how all addictions work....start out small and eventually spiral out of control....It started off for me with a little dabbling with electrics as a young teen. I quit for make years and was re-introduced by my dad. The nitro was just a little bit on the weekend with friends and it was "under control". I started doing it a little more often...during the week....even by myself. You might even catch me in the parking lot at work on my lunch "getting my fix". Next thing you know I am almost flat broke I smelled of nitro all the time it was the constant battle. It kinda came to a head when i was found at three AM in my garage full of smoke and fumes doing burn-outs and doughnuts the neighbors yelling the cops knocking on the door.....I then realized I had a problem. I had to stop or slow down for the sake of my family. I found it so hard to stop....I made promises but friends would offer me some and back off the wagon I would go. I have since learned to live with my habits a little bit.....Hi....My name is Joe and I am a RC junkie.

Don't forget when you were arrested downtown offering "favors" in exchange for a few ounces of 20%.
